- Livingstone Strong's Great, Great, Great Grandfather was African explorer
Dr. David Livingstone. Both his mother and father are artists in Australia.
His talent evidenced itself early as he was given a one-man exhibits at
the Sebert Art Gallery in Sydney at the age of 16. At the age of 19 he
was already receiving important commissions and in 1973 was commissioned
to paint the commemorative invitation for the Royal Sydney Opera House
by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In 1985 he was commissioned to create
the Presidential White House Monument in commemoration of the 200th anniversary
of the U.S. Constitution. |
